BHJ provides a variety of testing services for your pre-existing rotating components.
Common rotating component testing technology processes include:
- Dyno Test Torsional Validation:
On-site dyno testing of the operating engine. Involves actual measurement of the torsion levels in the crank on an engine dyno, or chassis dyno. All rotating group parameters, real-time temperature and driveline effects added to the crank are recorded. Typically paired with a Mathematical Model damper development project, Dyno Test Validation is available as a stand-alone service.

As is the case with harmonic dampers, many rotating components can be tested for inertia and resonant frequencies, such as flywheels, pulleys, valvetrain components and brake rotors.
